Medeama Sporting Club were officially crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in a magnificent coronation ceremony at the TnA Stadium that transformed Tarkwa into the heartbeat of Ghana football.
The colorful occasion attracted a distinguished gathering of traditional rulers from the Wassa and Nzema enclaves, top officials of the Ghana Football Association, sponsors, politicians, members of the business community, football lovers, and entertainment enthusiasts from across the country — all united in celebrating Medeama’s remarkable title-winning campaign.
The champions capped the memorable evening with a deserved 2-1 victory over Basake Holy Stars in the final game of the season before proceeding to the much-anticipated medal and trophy presentation ceremony.
Under dazzling lights and roaring chants from the packed TnA Stadium, captain and players of the Mauve and Yellows lifted the league trophy high into the Tarkwa sky — a defining moment that marked Medeama’s second Premier League title in the club’s history following their first triumph in the 2022/2023 season.
